TransCanada Calibrations is centrally located proximal to Winnipeg, Manitoba. This central location, next to Winnipeg a large trucking and intermodal transportation hub with an international airport, makes TCC a cost effective choice for meter repair, inventory and calibration services for TransCanada Pipelines.

TCC has partnered with an established fully insured transportation provider, experienced in handling meters and measurement equipment, to provide efficient competitive logistics service to our customers. TCC customers share in the cost benefit of the transportation discount that TCC realizes with this provider.

By offering transportation services, TCC simplifies meter calibration service for field personal. TCC will contact the meter user to determine pick-up and delivery dates, location, site access, dimensions, and loading requirements. Based on this information TCC can arrange prompt door-to-door service,

including meter pick-up, repair, calibration, and on time delivery. Alternately, the customer can choose to have TCC warehouse their meter after repair, and arrange calibration on a just-in-time basis.

By utilizing TCC in its centralized location for integrated meter repair, calibration, and warehousing, the transportation component of the composite service cost is significantly reduced.
